The journal Environmental Economics and Policy Studies was established to provide an international forum for debates among diverse disciplines such as environmental economics, environmental policy studies, and related fields. The main purpose of the journal is threefold: to encourage integration of theoretical studies and policy studies on environmental issues; to foster interdisciplinary works of environmental economics, environmental policy studies, and related fields on environmental issues, and to offer contributions from Asian countries where severe environmental destruction has been experienced and partly overcome. The editors believe that study the Asian experience of environmental destruction ? along with contributions from all parts of the world ? will contribute to the solution of environmental problems. The journal encourages interaction beyond traditional schools of thought.
